Workspaces & Teams
A workspace is your team's shared home in SyncContact. It owns everything the team uses together: the shared address books, the member roster, and the access rules that decide who can see and edit what.
If you signed in with Trello, your Trello workspaces are available right away — members included. See Trello Integration.
Members and roles
Open your workspace page to manage the team:
- Invite members by email. Invitees receive a link that signs them up (or in) and drops them straight into the workspace.
- Roles — members can be owners, admins, or members. Owners and admins manage the workspace itself (members, connections, shared address books); members use everything day-to-day.
Workspace members automatically appear in the workspace's default address book, so everyone always has up-to-date teammate contacts — on their phones too, if they use device sync.
Workspace tabs
The workspace page is organized into tabs:
- Members — invite people and manage roles.
- Access — control who can do what in the workspace.
- Shared Address Books — create and manage the address books the team shares.
- AI agents — issue and revoke scoped tokens for AI agents. See AI Agents (MCP).
- Danger Zone — destructive actions like deleting the workspace. These are irreversible, so they're kept out of the way.
Multiple workspaces
You can belong to any number of workspaces — for example, one per company or per team. The workspace selector in the top bar switches between them; each workspace has its own members, access rules, and shared address books.
